At DanielShay's Salon Boutique Spa, we have worked with DreamCatchers Hair Extensions for approximately 15 years, giving our stylists extensive experience in creating beautiful, natural-looking transformations.

Our primary extension method is DreamCatchers I-Tip Hair Extensions. We may also recommend a DreamCatchers weft or sew-in application when appropriate. We do not currently offer K-Tip or tape-in extensions. Instead of offering every possible method, we focus on the systems that allow our stylists to customize the placement, density, length, and finished look for each client.

DreamCatchers I-Tip Hair Extensions

I-Tips are the extension system we use most often at DanielShay's. This method uses small, individual strands of extension hair, allowing your stylist to control exactly where volume and length are added.

DreamCatchers' patented I-Tip system features a flexible, rubberized tip designed to lie flat against the head. Each strand is attached to a small section of natural hair using a tiny cylinder. Because I-Tips are applied without tape, adhesive, or heat, they provide a flexible and customizable option for many clients.

One of the greatest advantages of I-Tips is the freedom they give the stylist. Individual strands can be placed strategically throughout the hair to create a balanced result. Your stylist can add more fullness in one area, less in another, or combine several shades for a dimensional color blend.

DreamCatchers Weft and Sew-In Extensions

DreamCatchers also makes weft extensions. A weft is a continuous section of extension hair rather than a collection of individual strands. DreamCatchers describes its weft system as being sewn into a beaded foundation.

A weft or sew-in application can provide greater density across a section of the head and may be especially helpful when a client wants significant fullness or length. However, the correct application depends on the strength, density, texture, and condition of the natural hair.

If you are interested in sew-in extensions, we recommend discussing them during your consultation. Our stylists can determine whether a weft application is appropriate and explain how it would compare with our primary I-Tip method.

Professional products are especially important. Your stylist can recommend the appropriate shampoo, conditioner, treatments, heat protection, and styling products for your hair and extensions.

You should also keep your scheduled maintenance appointments. Waiting too long between appointments can allow excessive growth, tangling, or stress near the attachment areas.
